I will either go on Saturday evening or Sunday morning at 10am. Most likely, Sunday 10am. You are more than welcomed to go by yourself or if you want a companion, feel free to give me a tinker, (408) 666-8455.
Also, MAKE sure to bring a MACRO lens. Those wild flowers sure are tiny sometimes.

Here are the images from the wildflower show!

Here's the joke. Notice the images with BLACK backgrounds? I could not find any black paper at the show. After walking and thinking for a while, I checked the trunk of my car and found an old shorts that I was going to give to salvation army. It's almost black but it has tons of texture. It won't work well as a background. So, this is what I did.
Hold the black shorts behind the flower and set a long exposure...then move the pants so that it becomes a BLUR and TA DA, my dark dark background. All these while, people walking around me staring at me taking a picture of a flower and me waving my black pants behind it.
Anyways...enjoy.
