I work till around 6pm on weekdays so those are bad. Weekends are generally better if I have to travel to the city. Let me know on either. I've just started a project at work...so I'll have to sneak out or something.

Yikes... I think most of us are from the south bay, so getting up to the city by 6pm would mean leaving work pretty early. Since I'm using up all my vacation to go to Vancouver, that will be a bit rough for me.

If it was something more local, count me in.

I'm interested in meeting this week. I work during the day, but available anytime after 5.

A friend from the dgrin forums is in town from Holland, and she is a new D70 user. She is interested in being a tourist and taking back some great memories.

We are talking about meeting tomorrow night after work. We have not decided on a place yet. She did want to get some sunsets around GGB sometime before she leaves.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Should I also post this to the Yahoo group board?

Yes, David, you should post this notice in the Yahoo D70 group too. Meeting on a Parking Garage roof is a good idea, since you solve the parking problem (probably safely) and carpooling is possible from there. An alternative would be Battery Park on the Marin County side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

My recommendation would be to decide on a plan and post it, since the notice is relatively short. It should be fun showing your friend the sights. We would welcome a D70 visitor, especially one from another country.

I just got a new job offer today, so tonight will be spent celebrating. My first day of work is Tuesday. I would love to meet Monday for an outing anywhere.
