Let's do some night outing this Friday or Saturday night as full moon draws nigh! Any suggestions?

One place I can think about is keep driving on HWY 237 east, past HWY 880, 237 become Calaveras Blvd. Keep driving east on Calaveras Blvd, pass HWY 680, keep going east for about 2 to 4 miles.
You will be on top of the mountain with much less light polution.
hope this idea helps.

I am not very familiar with a lot of places in the Bay Area, but so long as we are far enough from city lights, it should be fine.
Too bad most park closes after the Sun sets. There are some nice parks on the hill along 680.
Anyways,
on Friday 27.
Moonrise 5:56 p.m. on preceding day
Moonset 3:24 a.m.
Moonrise 6:44 p.m.
Moon transit 11:39 p.m.
Moonset 4:40 a.m. on following day
on Saturday 28.
Moonrise 6:44 p.m. on preceding day
Moon transit 11:39 p.m. on preceding day
Moonset 4:40 a.m.
Moonrise 7:24 p.m.
Moonset 5:55 a.m. on following day
Anyone else know of any good spots?

Hey guys, I don't mean just taking pictures of the moon. I meant taking pictures of landscape with moon in it...
However, whichever pleases you folks, I'm in for it.

Friday night (tonite works for me). Anytime does really.
I've been to the Baylands 3x now. I think I'll try Shoreline park next. Seems like a nice place. Colourful boats.

I don't mind just hanging out...just that I have a 3 1/2 year old to babysit while we're out. So, not as convenient...but he's a great kid...
