I always look forward to creating something new, so I can post it here. I have been lurking for months now, enjoying a lot of work that are posted.

Here is my new work that I managed to complete earlier today, nothing special, but this composite has been in my desktop for sometime (4 months) and it has not seen the light of day until now that the weather and the music fit into play to my finishing this, so called piece of art..

Nice work but shadow shouldn't be that sharp since the lighting isn't from a small point. Soften the shadow using blur and you'll have a better composite. Hope that helps. Wink

I just watched the “How Art Made the World” on Viasat History. It’s a BBC production and it consists of 5 episodes. It looks like it’s on PBS also.

Why I’m mentioning this? Because this series tells you that the people actually don’t like realism. And this is valid since the prehistoric statues of Venus through the Greek art to the modern world.

Realism is boring. People like perfection. We want something more human than human. And these unrealistic images are a value added to the boring journalistic realistic images that we can see in our everydays life.
