Hi,

I've recently discovered Andreas Gursky's work and I've trying to reproduce some of his architecture pattern photography. I know I won't get close to his results, but it's fun trying. I enjoy the process: I do multi-row panoramas to get super high definition files.

These are Gursky's photos that i have in mind:

I'd love for example to know where/how to access some rooftops so I can shoot buildings without the distortion of being at ground level.

I've been having a really hard time finding subject matters in San Francisco that I can shoot. I tried searching Flickr (looked at thousands of photos) but really didn't find anything interesting.

Can anyone provide me with some guidance? Thank you!
George
