Everything on your end is great. Wish the dress wasn't so busy. |

I actually think the first one is totally blown out. Needs to be brought down quite a bit. When it is, it'll be a great shot.
Second one is also much too bright, but not as bad as the first. Also, try to leave a hint of the white part of the eye so the pupils don't get buried in the corners.
I like the dress. _________________ Hello, my name is BEN

Thanks.
Ben - I am using LR and I don't see any blown warnings on her face or arms. Her dress is blown out someplaces for sure but I don't care much for that. Maybe you going by your monitor brightness. |

Sorry, not blown out so much as very over exposed. _________________ Hello, my name is BEN

I am just trying to improve. It LR, face is approx at 90%. I don't know how that translates to RGB values. In PS, if you go above 246 or so then you get no texture on the skin. In this one, I can see texture when looking at bigger size. The bg and her sides are overexposed to get that rim/back ligh effect. She was in shade but sun is coming from behind. Another strobe on her left to gets ome rim lighting. I should have put a grid on the softbox to prevent overexposing her dress.
I will try to see it in PS. |

Interesting. I dont see them as overly bright at all on both my mac and ipad.
I think the bright background with a wide aperture make it look bright.
Nice shots Bobby

2nd they come across bright and in the first there is a bunch of distracting elements growing from her head. _________________ Kevin Goto |
